Properties & Projects
Maple Professional Building
RAV acquired what is now known as the Maple Professional Building in 2019. At the time it was a 100% vacant 24,000 square foot office building, with an abandoned bank on the first floor. Over the subsequent 18 months RAV converted this property into 13,000 square feet of updated, modern office space, 6 loft apartments, and The Vault, an award-winning fine dining restaurant.

Formerly Public Service Credit Union, RAV converted this property to a location of The Offices In, and is currently constructing an attached drive thru coffee shop.

The Wyandotte Leather Building
The Wyandotte Leather Building, as it’s known locally, is a 5,500 sq foot industrial building tucked away in a residential neighborhood. In the decades until 2019 this property suffered from extreme blight. In 2018 and 2109 RAV redeveloped it and eventually sold it to a local non-profit animal shelter, all while maintaining its historic look and name.
District 142
Through its history this 14,000 square foot property has been a variety of bars and entertainment establishments. Most recently, the previous owner had planned a distillery but upon the building catching fire, those plans were abandoned. After more than a decade of blight, RAV acquired this property in 2019. Working with its new owners, RAV just completed its redevelopment into District 142, a beautifully remodeled two-story live event venue!
The Federal Building
3131 Biddle was originally Federal’s Department Store (1940’s-1960’s), then Wyandotte’s City Hall offices from 1967 – 2011. Since 2011 this 33,000 square foot building, and adjacent land, have been vacant.
In 2020 RAV began planning its redevelopment, with final plans including 35 residential units with adjacent parking, first floor commercial space, and a rooftop bar. This redevelopment is a public/private partnership being completed with local and state support, and will serve as a catalyst for redevelopment of much of the Downtown community’s infrastructure.
RAV broke ground on this redevelopment in fall of 2022 and completion is expected around the end of 2024.
Other Projects
In addition to the above, RAV has developed or redeveloped a variety of buildings including custom residential homes, restaurants, a concert venue, industrial shop space and more.
4500 Biddle & The Michigan Nickel Building
This city block is the combination of two existing structures and previously vacant land in between. This combined property was formerly a credit union branch office, and The Michigan Nickel Building (made infamous by its past involvement with a Mexican Drug Cartel). RAV is currently converting this property into Better Space, a shop space and self-storage facility serving local small businesses, with phase 1 opening spring of 2023.
